Common Name:Phillips’s Kangaroo Rat
Type Locality:Mexico, Hidalgo, Valley of Mexico, near Real del Monte (= Mineral de Monte).
Distribution:C Durango south to N Oaxaca (Mexico).
Status:IUCN – Lower Risk (nt).
Comments:Systematics reviewed by Genoways and Jones (1971); biology reviewed by Jones and Genoways (1975a, Mammalian Species No. 51).
