| Comments: | Subgenus Callospermophilus (Hall, 1981:382-406). Gromov et al. (1965:70;150), in contrast to Hall (1981) considered Callospermophilus a subgenus of the genus Otospermophilus. Reviewed by Bartels and Thompson (1993, Mammalian Species No. 440). |
