Common Name:Anderson's Squirrel
Type Locality:"common at Ponsee, on the Kakhyen range of hills, east of Bhamo, at an elevation of from 2000 to 3000 ft" [Burma].
Distribution:NE Burma, Yunnan (China).
Status:IUCN – Vulnerable.
Comments:Included in C. erythraeus by Moore and Tate (1965:209); but this distinctly marked species with a very limited range is sympatric with the more widely distributed C. erythraeus in W Yunnan (Corbet and Hill, 1992:286).
