Type Locality:"Les foręts Qui couvrent la chaine montagneuse du Tscheli" [= Chihli, old name for Hebei Prov., China].
Distribution:Montane forests, from Yunnan to C and E China.
Status:IUCN – Endangered.
Comments:No subspecies recognized (Corbet and Hill, 1992).
