Common Name:Collie's Squirrel
Type Locality:"San Blas, Tepic, [Nayarit,] Mexico."
Distribution:Mexico: WC coast including Sonora, Chihuahua, Sinaloa, Durango, Nayarit, Jalisco, and Colima.
Status:IUCN Lower Risk (lc).
Comments:Subgenus Sciurus (Hall, 1981:421). Includes sinaloensis and truei (Anderson, 1962). Reviewed by Best (1995b, Mammalian Species No. 497).
