Common Name:White-headed Langur
Type Locality:Vietnam, Cat Ba Isl (restricted by Brandon-Jones, 1995).
Distribution:Cat Ba Isl (Vietnam); Guangxi (China).
Status:CITES – Appendix II; U.S. ESA– Endangered as included in T. francoisi; IUCN – Critically Endangered as T. p. poliocephalus and T. p. leucocephalus.
Comments:T. francoisi species group. Considered a species separate from francoisi by Brandon-Jones (1995). Subspecies leucocephalus was considered to be a partially albinistic population of francoisi by Brandon-Jones (1995), but (provisionally) a subspecies of poliocephalus by Groves (2001c).
