Distribution:Ethiopia to South Africa, S and E Dem. Rep. Congo, NW Angola.
Status:CITES – Appendix II; IUCN – Endangered as C. mitis labiatus, Data Deficient as C. m. albotorquatus, Lower Risk (lc) as C. m. albogularis, otherwise not listed.
Comments:C. mitis species group. Separated from C. mitis by Dandelot (1974:19).
