Common Name:Rio Tapajos Saki
Type Locality:Brazil, Pará, West bank of Rio Tapajós, Parque Nacional de Amazônia.
Distribution:South of the Amazon in SW Brazil; SW Peru; E Bolivia.
Status:CITES – Appendix II; IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).
Comments:Includes some specimens identified by Hershkovitz (1979) as P. hirsuta. May prove to be a subspecies of P. monachus (Hershkovitz, 1987d).
