Type Locality:Brazil, upper Marañon, Tabatinga.
Distribution:Colombia, east of Cordillera Oriental, west of Rio Negro, south to Brazil (north of Amazon-Solimões Rivers).
Status:CITES – Appendix II; IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).
Comments:Gray-necked species group.
