Common Name:White-fronted Capuchin
Type Locality:Venezuela, Orinoco River.
Distribution:Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, N Peru, NW Brazil, Trinidad, Bolivia (see Anderson, 1997).
Status:CITES – Appendix II; IUCN – Critically Endangered as C. a. trinitatis, Data Deficient as C. a. adustus, C. a. aequatorialis, C. a. cesarae, C. a. cuscinus, C. a. leucocephalus, C. a. malitiosus, C. a. versicolor, and C. a. yuracus, otherwise IUCN – Least Concern.
Comments:C. capucinus species group. Intermediates between this species and C. capucinus occur in Colombia (middle San Jorge Valley; Lower Cauca River), see Hernández-Camacho and Cooper (1976:58).
