Common Name:White-mantled Tamarin
Type Locality:Brazil, Amazonas, Santo Antonio, Rio Eiru, upper Rio Jurua.
Distribution:Brazil, between Rios Jurua and Tarauca.
Status:CITES Appendix II; IUCN Data Deficient as S. fuscicolis crandalli, otherwise not listed.
Comments:S. nigricollis species group. Coimbra-Filho (1990) regarded melanoleucus as a species distinct from S. fuscicollis, and this was followed by Groves (2001c).
