INFRAORDER LEMURIFORMES

Author:Gray, 1821.
Comments:All Malagasy lemur families, with the possible exception of Daubentoniidae, form a monophyletic clade (reviewed in Groves, 2001c). As the families within this clade themselves fall into two groups, it is convenient to recognize infraorders as well as superfamilies.
