Type Locality:"Americæ meridionalis arboribus;" restricted to Surinam by Thomas (1911a).
Distribution:Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana, Venezuela south of the Orinoco, and N Brazil (south to the Amazonas/Solimões).
Status:IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).
