SPECIES Marmosops neblina

Common Name:Neblina Slender Opossum

Comments:Described as a subspecies of M. impavidus; reviewed by Mustrangi and Patton (1997) and Patton et al. (2000). The spelling neblinae Linares, 1998, is an incorrect subsequent spelling of neblina (Gardner). One of the several names grouped under M. impavidus may prove to be a senior synonym for neblina.
