Common Name:Northern Pig-tailed Macaque
Type Locality:Burma, N Arakan.
Distribution:Burma, coast (including Mergui Arch.), Thailand north of about 8°N, S Yunnan (China), Laos, Bangladesh, India north to Brahmaputra River.
Status:CITES – Appendix II; IUCN – Vulnerable.
Comments:M. nemestrina species group. Considered a species separate from nemestrina by Groves (2001c:223).
