Common Name:Martins’ Tamarin
Type Locality:Brazil, Para, Faro.
Distribution:N Brazil: a very small area north of the Amazon, on either side of the Rio Nhamunda.
Status:CITES – Appendix I as included in S. bicolor; U.S. ESA – Endangered (as included in S. bicolor) ; IUCN – Least Concern.
Comments:S. bicolor species group. See Hershkovitz (1977:744). Separated from bicolor by Groves (2001c).
