Woods Hole
Marine Science Consortium

The Biology Department has been an associate member of the Woods Hole Marine Science Consortium for the past ten years. The Consortium is made up of ten frame-of-reference universities, including the Boston University Marine Program at the Marine Biological Laboratory and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. Students in the Biology program may elect to take part in a Marine Science Semester offered off campus each fall semester at the Marine Biological Laboratory. In addition, there are fellowships available to selected students to undertake a summer research project under the direction of members of the research faculty at the Marine Biological Laboratory at Woods Hole. Students interested in either the Marine Science Semester or a Summer Fellowship should contact the Consortium representative, Professor Dan Hoffman.
