The Biology Department has been an associate member of the Woods Hole
Marine Science Consortium for the past ten years. The Consortium is
made up of ten frame-of-reference universities, including the
Boston University Marine Program at the Marine Biological
Laboratory and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution.
Students in the Biology program may elect to take part in a
Marine Science Semester offered off campus each fall semester at
the Marine Biological Laboratory. In addition, there are
fellowships available to selected students to undertake a summer
research project under the direction of members of the research
faculty at the Marine Biological Laboratory at Woods Hole.
Students interested in either the Marine Science Semester or a
Summer Fellowship should contact the Consortium representative,
Professor Dan Hoffman.
