A faculty of 289 full-time and 26 part-time professors teach and advise Bucknell's students. More than 91 percent of the faculty hold a Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree. Bucknell enjoys a student-to-faculty ratio of 12 to 1, which allows our professors to interact closely with students. All professors keep regular office hours, and some even provide their home telephone numbers so that students may reach them whenever they have a problem or question.
