The Bucknell Public Policy Institute hosted a Student Public Policy Summer Internship Panel on January 26, 2017. Holly Grosholz ’17 organized and moderated the panel after returning from the Women in Public Policy conference organized by The Public Leadership Education Network. The Institute sponsored Holly’s attendance at the conference.

 Students Debate the Issues
 

On campus, many students have requested a space to calmly discuss and exchange ideas about what’s happening in the world. Seeking to nourish the global student and burst the notorious “Bucknell Bubble,” on October 20, 2016 the Bucknell Institute for Public Policy hosted a civil public debate for student organizations on campus.

The Bucknellian approached the Institute interns Zach Krivine ’18, Jackson Pierce-Felker ’18, and Madison Simon ‘18 and asked them to create a voting guide for students to educate them about the policy positions of national, state, and local candidates, and where to vote..
