BOOKSTORE STUDENT JOB DESCRIPTIONS


Customer Service Cashier
This position works closely with the front office staff and head cashier in running registers tied to the Bookstore's electronic point-of-sale system. May also be called upon to relieve in various store departments, do light cleaning, and pricing of merchandise.
Skills Required/Requested: We are looking for people with excellent customer service skills. Previous retail experience is helpful. Applications are available at the registers and the bookstore front office. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, 70 with assistance.
Number of Hours Needed/Week: 7 hours.
Normal Work Schedule: Store hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Work schedule is based around class schedule on weekdays and some Saturdays.
